Joey Bombora is a student in the same year as Virgil Hawkins and Richie Foley. He is well-liked among most of the student body for his friendly disposition. However, his grades were not up to par. In his freshman year, Bombora ran for class president against Madelyn Spaulding, Richie Foley, and others. Spaulding used her telepathy to force Bombora to drop his candidacy in favor of her. Once she was defeated by Static, Bombora was reinstated into the election and won.
