Zrfff is the true name of the Fifth Dimension, an inter-dimensional reality that exists outside the space-time continuum. Since it operates on five dimensional properties, Zrfff obeys a unique set of physics. These properties are exploited by the dimension's inhabitants, a race of imp-like beings who can cast powerful magic. Two of the most famous of these beings are Mr. Mxyzptlk, Gsptlsnz, and Yz, also known as Thunderbolt on Earth. The Tribunal presides over all.
For 100 years, these beings tortured human beings on Earth. The Tribunal then passed a law against torturing beings of a lesser dimension. Those who are convicted are stripped of their powers and stranded on the planet the crime was committed for one inter-dimensional phase. The Tribunal then evaluates the being after 90 days to see if a good deed has been committed.
