Stagg Enterprises is a research and development firm founded by Simon Stagg. It has three locations in Los Angeles, Metropolis, and New York. The Metropolis branch is also home to Stagg Industries which is the manufacturing arm of the company. It has at least three levels and known employees are Java and Rex Mason. Stagg invested the company's money on his Project Metamorpho.

Upon learning Mason was marrying his daughter, Sapphire, Stagg used Mason as his test subject. Mason responded to a false security breach on the third level and was exposed to mutagen. He awoke as Metamorpho and rampaged until the Justice League reasoned with him. Metamorpho impulsively attacked Stagg while he mass produced the mutagen. The beast Chemo was born and it went after Sapphire Stagg. While Batman designed a polypeptide to defeat it, Metamorpho knocked him out and elected to sacrifice himself to save his love. After Chemo was destroyed and Stagg died from the strain, it appears Stagg Enterprises went into bankruptcy and was liquidated.
