The Power Pad is the secret headquarters of Soul Power, hidden underground in an abandoned part of the Dakota City subway system. The name serves as a reference to the popular culture of the 1960's that influenced Sould Power. As a way to circumvent a security risk and save money, Soul Power powered all of the Pad's equipment with his electrical ability. Aside from monitors, it also has some memorabilia and inventions, the Soul Mobile and Electro-Amplifiers.
After Soul Power retired, the Pad lay dormant and undiscovered for 30 years. Then he was able to reactivate it with ease when he took Static to it in search of Professor Menace. The Power Pad served as an inspiration for an eventual upgrade of the Abandoned Gas Station of Solitude that still exists in the 2050's.
