Six light years away, there is a planet with a technologically advanced society. The residents are orange-skinned humanoids. In terms of political leadership, a national council runs the planet. In a rare scientific event, two meteors were headed into a black hole. Scientists journeyed to observe them and discovered Jax-Ur and Mala, two Kryptonian war criminals who escaped the Phantom Zone. Upon returning to their homeworld, Jax-Ur and Mala viewed their society as anarchist and asserted their rule.

A year later, the planet, now named New Krypton, was the vision of Jax-Ur put into action. Order was created through co-ops and schools. The national labor effort was all towards creating an armada of automated interstellar ships. With this fleet, Jax-Ur planned to invade Earth and get revenge against Superman. Superman detected the black hole from Earth and investigated it. He then stumbled upon the remnants of an underground rebellion but mistakingly returned them to New Krypton. Eventually, Superman and two of the indigenous people, Cetea and Alterus, helped defeat Jax-Ur and Mala once and for all. New Krypton was liberated and returned to their former glory.
