Sometime between 2009 and the 2050's, Cuba was renamed New Cuba. It is unknown if this was because of liberation from its long standing communist regime or reconstruction efforts following the Near Apocalypse of 2009. Regardless, it is known that Talia, daughter of Ra's al Ghul, made her father's 200 acre New Cuba estate her permanent residence. However, it was revealed that Ra's al Ghul utilized a machine to take over Talia's body following his cripping defeat in the Near Apocalypse. Over the decades, Ra's improved the machine and used the estate's Lazarus Pit to extend his life. Interlopers were disposed of in a nearby crocodile habitat. In the 2050's, Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne were invited to the estate and learned the truth. In the confrontation, Ra's machine and the Lazarus Pit interacted and caused a massive explosion that destroyed most of the home.
