Long ago, in ancient times, a Hindu sage named Ne settled on and protected a valley named Kathmandu located between China and India. His rituals attracted several observers and the Gopala Dynasty grew and its kings ruled Nepal for 500 years. Some time later, the religion of Buddhism was born. By the end of the 13th century, there were three kingdoms in Nepal: Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. In 1768, they were reunited by a king named Prithvi Narayan Shah.
The monarchy was tested by imperialism, civil war, democracy and communism in the coming centuries. In the 20th century, the north is more or less undeveloped and is home to Mount Everest while the southern area is urbanized with Kathmandu as the capital city. A branch of Wayne Enterprises was established there.
After surviving the destruction of a Lazarus Pit in the Himalayas, Batman and Robin marched to Nepal. They regrouped at Wayne Enterprises Nepal and investigated a clue left behind by Ra's al Ghul. After learning about the Orpheus satellite, they flew to the Sahara Desert for a final confrontation and save the world.
