Mykonos is part of the Cyclades island chain in the South Aegean Sea. The island is only 41 square miles in area and its highest point is 1119 feet. Geographically, Mykonos is composed mainly of granite and lacks natural water. The nearly 9500 residents converts salt water for their daily requirements. It is believed that Mykonos was the site of a battle between Zeus and the Titans. The island was then named after a grandson of Apollo, Mykons. Sometime in 11th century B.C., the island was settled by ancient Greeks called the Ionians. Today, it is a tourist attraction for its nightlife.
After Circe was paroled from imprisonment. She first got revenge on Hippolyta through Wonder Woman then proceeded to Mykonos. Jealous of her relatives, Circe planned to debut at an ampitheater near the temple of Apollo and win the adoration of the crowd. Several of Medusa's victims decorate the entrance. While performing, she was attacked by Batman and Zatanna. Eventually, Batman struck up a bargain with Circe. In exchange for returning Wonder Woman back to her normal state, Batman had to sing. Batman's rendition of "Am I Blue?" brought acclaim from everyone present.
