The Lex Luthor Museum was opened in Metropolis as a public relations event on behalf of Lexcorp. It features state of the art displays with automated voice lessons on each object. During the grand opening ceremony, the Museum was robbed by Nito Hanes and Sam Corali. They were after a priceless diamond but Clark Kent was on scene and tried to stop them as Superman. However, also on display was Kryptonite. Luthor observed the security tapes and noticed Superman's adverse reaction. The next day, the Kryptonite display was replaced by one of lead and bronze. Later that day, Luthor lured Superman back to the Museum and attacked it with a Kryptonite-armed robot dinosaur. Lois Lane managed to shield the Kryptonite with lead and Superman destroyed the dinosaur.
