Boston was founded on September 17, 1630 by the Puritans. Originally, settlers called it Trimountaine but called it Boston after an England town. The Puritan model structured Boston well and it became a center for education and trade, especially in seafood. However, Boston soon became more famous for rebellion during the times of the American Revolution for independence from England. The Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, Battle of Lexington and Concord and Battle of Bunker Hill are the most famous historical events.

Today, Boston is the capitol of the state of Massachusetts, has a population of over 600,000 and has interests in education, electronics, engineering, finance, and technology. Massachusetts Institute for Technology is only rivaled by Connecticut's Ivy University. Boston's fame was further extended when Professor Ray Palmer discovered a piece of white dwarf star matter and became the Atom. Even as a member of the Justice League Unlimited, the Atom still spends his time in Boston conducting research and teaching courses.
