The Weather Machine is a doomsday device invented by Professor Menace and unleashed on Seaside, Georgia in 1961. Soul Power intervened. Some 40 years later, Menace plotted to lure Soul Power and Static to the High Hills where he would use the duo as a power source for the Weather Machine. With a stolen defense satellite, he would be unstoppable. However, the owner of the satellite was Soul Power's former partner, Sparky. He freed the two heroes, then together they destroyed the Weather Machine once and for all. Sparky also tracked the data going to the Weather Machine to a retirement home in Dakota City.
