Harvey Dent always got good luck from carrying around his two-headed silver dollar coin. Symbolizing Dent's dual personality and psychosis, one side of the coin is scarred and the other is clean. When Two-Face surfaced, he is unable to go through a decision without first flipping the coin which he considers the great equalizer, a 50/50 chance. If it lands on the scarred side, he will go through with an act of evil. If it lands on the clean side, he won't. Over the years, Batman has defeated him by stealing the coin or distracting him from seeing what side it lands on.
