Although the Joker primarily used cards in his own likeness, on at least one occassion he used a trick Ace card. Upon impact, it released knockout gas. In the 2050's, trick cards were a secondary weapon of King, from the Royal Flush Gang. Upon contact, the card's hidden technology activates and either knockout gas, restraints, or a flash bomb appears. Obsessed with killing the new Batman, King created a new card. Unlike the traditional club motif, this one was all black and bore a skull symbol. In reality, it emitted a high explosive. They are hidden in the sleeves of King and are usually retrieved through a slight of hand.
