The Time Manipulator is a device worn as a gauntlet. It is the special project of Dr. McDonald and after years, completed it with the aid of his intern, Eddie Felson. When used, the user is attached to a temporal zone and navigates hypertime, appearing to others as someone with enhanced speed. When Static and Gear saved McDonald, Gear used his notes to quickly create a second version, worn as a belt. However, when Felson took the belt and activated it, the two timestreams crossed and he was trapped out of sync with time forever.
