The Silicate Dust Bomb is a weapon utilized by Batgirl when she teamed up with Supergirl to capture Livewire, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn. The bomb effectively grounds electricity and would strip Livewire of her powers temporarily. Upon contact, she would be covered in a layer of silicate dust. The bomb was successfully used during a shopping mall theft but Poison Ivy infected Batgirl with poisonous spores and escaped with her cohorts.
