After Volcana fled from Project Firestorm, they devised several ways to combat her. One was a weapon worn like a backpack. Built in at least three variations, they all fire a powerful fire retardant. When smothered with it, Volcana is unable to activate her pyrokinesis through combustion as the chemicals form a protective layer that prevents the underlying material from igniting.
