The Particle Destabilizer Gun is a special weapon designed to disrupt molecular bonds in animate and inanimate matter. Mr. Wenchell, of Shimano Industries, double-crossed Inque after she successfully sabotaged a Shimano Space Center launch. The gun was hidden in a tray within Wenchill's desk. Unable to dodge the blasts, Inque took on heavy cellular damage before escaping and needed more mutagen or face certain death. Batman later questioned Wenchill and he responded with the destabilizer. Batman managed to overpower Wenchill and interrogated him about Inque.
