The Joker uses robots in his likeness as a diversionary tactic. Usually armed with a tommy gun, the Joker Robots are programmed to emit his trademark laugh. During a Christmas Eve case, Robin fought several robots who shot bullets through their fingers. He used his acrobatics to fool the robots into shooting each other then disabled the last one himself. Years later, Harley Quinn used a Joker Robot with pre-programmed dialogue to distract Batman while she injected him with a sedative. 50 years in a hypertimeline, Enid Clinton employed at least one hulking Joker Robot to serve her. It was destroyed by the remnants of the Justice League.
