"The Iso," short for isolation, is a common brainwashing technique. In the 2050's, it was used by Dr. Wheeler to break the will of his patients. They would be taken to a cell and be forced to experience total sense deprivation, no light and no sound. Combined with sleep deprivation and endless rants, Wheeler succeeded in all but Sean Miller. Adam Stepnik became mute from the trauma. When Terry McGinnis tried to gather evidence against Wheeler, he was caught and put into Iso along with Miller. Together, they put aside their long history of rivalry and came up with a plan to take down the ranch once and for all.
