With Wayne Aerospace's funding, the Atom and Mr. Terrific finished upgrading the Justice League's Javelin fleet at the height of a Multiverse incident. They presented the Infinity-1 Javelin to J'onn J'onzz, Flash, Shayera Hol, Batman, Vixen, Green Lantern, and Lois Lane. Atom believed it took his genius to put it together and complimented Terrific as a wonderful assistant. Terrific retorted the Javelin would still be a thousand-piece jigsaw without him. Lane was apprehensive but Atom assured her the Justice League always came back. She knew it was bravado on his part, but his words still gave her comfort nonetheless. Infinity took off for the vortex. J'onn merged his consciousness with the Javelin's A.I., thinking it should help them navigate the warp and track down the source of the dimensional overlapping. Flash was not convinced it would work and was alarmed with the vortex's energies overloading the Javelin's force fields. J'onn urged them to press on and they disappeared into the vortex.

Infinity-1 experienced the equivalent of a cosmic tsunami upon entering the vortex. Flash pointed out the obvious that things weren't going as planned. Batman told him to be quiet if he didn't have something useful to offer. Green Lantern contended Flash had a point and predicted the ship was going to be torn apart. Shayera Hol had faith in J'onn J'onzz getting them through. J'onzz informed them her confidence was misplaced because he was overwhelmed by what felt like a million universes forcing their way into his mind at once. Batman told J'onzz he was stronger and stronger than anyone he knew. He pointed out after he lost his family and his world, he found the will to survive and begin again. J'onzz couldn't do it. Batman implored him to. He was moved by Batman's faith and friendship and focused his telepathy. He located Amazo at the crossroads between the universes and emphasized they had to stop it before it brought all of creation crashing down. Infinity-1 was ripped apart by a doppelganger of Amazo who merged with the Anti-Life Equation after they arrived at the location of the Mirrored Room. Infinity-1 was restored to normal working condition after Batman and Wonder Woman rebooted the Multiverse with the Life Equation. The Justice League returned to the Watchtower in it.
