In the early 21st century, Ashton Biotechnics managed to construct several exo-suits before being shut down by the federal government. A pair was briefly utilized by Drs. Jonathan and Dolores Vale when they were forced to help their former colleague Dr. Koenig. After Tobias Manning captured David Clinton in 1879 and used the Chronos suit for his own ends, Manning amassed an arsenal of future technology. He used them to take over the town of Elkhorn, including four giant exosuits. Operated by one pilot, the exosuits are dispatched from an underground bunker on Manning's property. Aside from super strength and weapons, the sight the exosuits was probably enough to scare the townfolk into submission. In a planned assault, the exosuits were destroyed by Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, El Diablo, and Jonah Hex. Green Lantern then compacted all of the exosuits and weapons into a dense mass and launched it into space.
