Johannes Brahms was a 19th century German composer residing in Vienna, Austria. Along with Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven, Brahms was considered one of the leading performers of his time. He is often noted for modernizing classic Romantic period music with his discipline, perfectionism, and traditionalism. Alfred Pennyworth lists Brahm as one of his favorites and listens to it from time to time, even in the Batcave, much to Batman's amusement.
