The Batglider is a foldable hang glider used by Batman and Robin for stealth and reconnaissance. Like other forms of transportation, Batman designed the glider into the shape of a bat. Besides the Batcave, a Batglider is hidden atop the rooftop of Wayne Enterprises in a shed. When the seats of the Batmobile are ejected, they also deploy Batgliders instead of a common parachute in order to accelerate countermeasures. Batman can also deploy from the Batwing with a Batglider. Undoubtedly the most vulnerable to attack, the glider has been damaged extensively over the years. A special apparatus in the Batcave is lowered from the ceiling and clamps onto the left and right tips of the glider.
