In comparison to other planets, Apokolips is in possession of vastly superior forms of weapons. The Ultrasound Wand emits a high frequency pulse that can disintegrate primitive weapons. Various lasers and energy beam weapons can cut through safe's like a knife through butter. The Armature is a pair of gloves that project two giant super strong hands to control. Perhaps, the most odd of them is a beacon that emits energy rings that become paper restraints. The Hovertank is used much like tanks in Earth warfare. Their most deadly payloads are the Nova Bomb and Ultrasound Emitter. The Emitter projected such a strong frequency that even Superman's ears bled. Aside from the Hovertank, there are land-based cannons fashioned like dragons that spew fireballs.

In a bid to find the Anti-Life Equation, Earth became the subject of Darkseid's conquest. He sent his agent Kanto to outfit Intergang with Apokoliptian weapons. Despite their advantage, they were still defeated by Superman. Some time later, DeSaad sent his latest creation, the Scream Machine to Earth to test the strength of Superman. Set to initiate an endgame, Darkseid dispatched Bruno Mannheim to Ayers Island Power Plant to arm an incendiary device that would shut down the plant's cooling system. The meltdown would pave the way for radioactive hot zones and create burn holes on Earth like with Apokolips. However, after Highfather intervened and placed Earth under his watch, Apokoliptian technology was restricted or risk war. They circumvented the clause by recruiting runaway teenagers to steal Earth technology that Granny Goodness would use to create a device that would devastate the planet.

While these weapons are designed to inflict pain on their targets, none is more harmful than the Agony Matrix. Designed to stimulate pain receptors, it was enough to even neutralize Superman. However, it's effect appears to be temporary, enough time to allow its user to apply a death blow to the target.
