Prince Gavyn, of the planet Kranaltine, loved his people and protected them from harm but his rather adventurous exploits left Kranaltine's throne in a precarious position. Gavyn's own sister betrayed him and left him to drift in space. Gavyn was saved by an omnipotent being named M'ntorr and trained him in the cosmic arts. Now stationed on Earth, Gavyn serves on the Justice League Unlimited as Starman. He has the power to absorb energy and redirect it as heat or energy bolts.
