Imra Ardeen of Titan, one of Saturn's moons, was going to go to Earth and join the Science Police. However, her psychic powers detected the plans for the assassination attempt on R.J. Brande. After the Legion of Superheroes was formed, she joined and was dubbed Saturn Girl. She is considered one of universe's top telepaths and stands as one of the Legion's leaders.
Saturn Girl, along with Cosmic Boy and Chameleon Boy, traveled back in time to the 1970's in pursuit of Brainiac. The three Legionnaires scrambled to protect a young Clark Kent before Brainiac killed him. Saturn Girl gained Kent's trust with her emphathic nature and she revealed the legacy of Superman. After the battle, Saturn Girl placed a block on Kent's memories and implanted the threat of a passing twister into the minds of Smallville's residents.
