Justice Guild of America

Back to Heroes Main > Justice Guild of America

The Justice Guild of America were comic book superheroes idolized by John Stewart when he was a child. Stewart spent his time absorbing their exploits, perhaps shaping his own destiny, supplied to him by his uncle. Then one day, the comic got cancelled. The truth was that the Justice Guild existed in an alternate reality and their base of operations in Seaboard City as well. The comic book creators had some psychic link with that reality that inspired them to create the series. In the Guild's reality, nuclear war broke out and the Guild sacrificed their lives to save the remnants of the human population. The planet was devastated. One of the survivors, Ray Thompson was mutated in the nuclear holocaust, giving him a bizarre appearance and the ability to fabricate reality. Thompson recreated Seaboard City and the Justice Guild and made the city relive the Guild's adventures.
