A veteran Green Lantern assigned to Space Sector 3587, Palaqua, along with other veteran Green Lanterns, such as Katman Tui, Tomar-Re, Kilwog, Larvox, Chriselon, Salakk and raw recruits Kyle Rayner and Arisia, went to Earth to initiate a last ditch effort to destroy AMAZO when they thought he had destroyed Oa, until it was revealed that Lex Luthor had convinced AMAZO to stop and it then returned Oa to its proper place.
