Gim Allon always wanted to become a hero. In the late 30th century, Allon graduated from the Science Police Academy. During a high speed pursuit of a suspect, Allon was exposed to a radioactive meteorite by accident. The side effects gave Allon the ability to increase his size and mass at will, up to a height of 30 feet tall. Hailing from Mars, the government named Allon the Martian representative to the Legion of Superheroes. Allon obliged and took on the name Collosal Boy.
