Warhounds are giant dogs used as Hounds, Darkseid's elite troops, on the planet Apokolips. Much like a canine division in the law enforcement on Earth, Hounds are given one dog to train with for their career. Unlike Earth, the Warhounds are so huge, the Hounds ride them for transportation. One one known engagement, a squad of Hounds and Warhounds fought the Flash, Mr. Miracle, and Big Barda near the X-Pit. They were easily beaten by the trio.
