In this main office at LexCorp, Lex Luthor's office is furnished with an aquarium that wraps around half of the room. Housed within the tank is a large adult shark, most likely a bull shark. While mostly known for its unpredictable and aggressive nature, the bull shark is also capable of living in both fresh and saltwater. This ability to adapt may have been what appealed to Luthor other than the obvious allusion of a shark. In another irony, bull sharks hunt alone, but are occasionally seen in pairs much like Luthor and Mercy Graves.
The shark once escaped its tank when Corey Mills snapped and attacked his former master. Superman intervened and returned the shark to its tank before it could devour Luthor. Years later, it continues to thrive even after Luthor retook his position from Graves. It is unknown if it survived after Brainiac emerged from Luthor and the battle with the Justice League.
