On the planet Krypton, somewhere in its arctic region, the indigenous wildlife includes benign creatures that look like furry balls with legs. Their main locomotion appears to be hopping, similar to a rabbit on Earth. While conducting research, Jor-El relocated his family here. He managed to capture of the furry beasts and gave it to his son, Kal-El, as a new pet. It is assumed that this species was endemic to Krypton was went extinct when it imploded.
