Long believed to be extinct, the race of dinosaurs continued to live and prosper in Skartaris, a lost word hidden in the center of the Earth. While velociraptors were domesticated by the warlord Deimos and incorporated into his army as Dino Troopers, larger dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex were left alone in the wild.
When Chronos returned to his time in the 21st century, he destroyed the Justice League and began to pollute the time stream without restrain. After learning one of his Jokerz, Chucko, sold valuable information to Batman, Chronos banished Chucko to the Late Cretaceous period. Eager to assert his rule, Chucko and the dinosaurs were soon wiped out by a giant meteor. However, after Batman and Green Lantern restored time as we know it, events were erased, including Chucko's encounter with dinosaurs.
