Farmer Brown used his knowledge of microbiology to create a special growth hormone to mutate farm animals into gigantic proportions in order to supply more food to his customers. However, the authorities believed it to be an abomination. Brown retired outside of Gotham and plotted his revenge. He continued to perfect his hormone and created monstrous chickens, bulls, mantis, and warthogs; even a talking goat. After Batman, Batgirl, and Robin infiltrated his farm, the animals were either destroyed in the battle and most likely given euthanasia in the aftermath.
