On the planet Almerac, the main prison is maintained miles underground and shielded to prevent escape. Also residing in the prison is a Carnorite. It is a gigantic anemone-like beast that preys on new prisoners. Most of the creature is unseen and parts of it traverse the intricate tunnels of the prison to find its prey. Superman and Maxima defeated it when Superman tied part of the creature to the prison's force shield and electrocuted it into submission.
