Dr. Tannor secured a $20 Million Credit investment in an anti-aging venture backed by a device called the Genome Reversal Generator. However, there was an early glitch in the Research and Development Phase. Several test subjects were de-evolved into ape men, a missing link between ape and man. Their leader, named Dante, led them as Dr. Tannor's private security force. It appears to be a combination of lowered intelligence and the promise to be restored to normal that drives their loyalty to Tannor. Following Tannor Enterprises' destruction, Zeta and Bucky built a new machine to restore clients and test subjects back to normal condition.
