Vinnie the Shark was an up and coming drug ring leader in Bayside, the southern sector of Gotham. Before he could capitalize and ascend the ranks, Vinnie was arrested by Detective Harvey Bullock. Vinnie swore revenge and served eight years. When Bullock received anoynomous death threats, Batman came to suspect Vinnie. Along with Bullock, he tracked down Vinnie and shut down his new operation. Vinnie maintained he nothing to do with Bullock's problems.
