The Thinking Cap was invented by Professor Hartwell Jackson. The device was capable of allowing its wearer to project a strong mental force. Ex-lawyer, Clifford DeVoe decided that it would be best to use it for his own and stole the Thinking Cap. Calling himself the Thinker, he became infamous for using his intellect over brawn.
