Nito Hanes & Sam Corali are a pair of low level thieves in Metropolis. During the opening of Lex Luthor's Museum of Natural History, Hanes and Corali set up a false construction signs near a sewer manhole. The two then burrowed underground into the Museum, during the opening day's press conference. Clark Kent was on scene and slipped away to confront them as Superman. However, a shard of Kryptonite was on display and weakened Superman. The two escaped but Luthor recognized them on security tapes and put out a hit on them.
