Saryva, ruler of the planet Vengar, is a sadist, one who inflicts pain and delights in it. Saryva later bonded to a powerful and ancient Oan artifact called the Emerald Eye of Ekron. She gained numerous powers without and weaknesses of the power rings from the present age. With her near-limitless power, Saryva, now called herself the Emerald Empress, secured the position of leader in the Fatal Five.
