During World War II, Dr. Krieger was tasked with creating the living embodiment of the Nazi Party's ideology. In 1944, he succeeded with the perfection of his Captain Nazi Formula. Krieger's son, Albrecht, was volunteered to take it. Just as the injection was to take place, the O.S.S. operative Spy Smasher intervened. Krieger and several Nazi agents fought him but were knocked unconscious. Several barrels of Benzene caught on fire and destroyed Krieger's castle. He was assumed dead. His work, however, was carried on by Project Cadmus decades later.
