Dr. Cardy is the head of a local aquarium in Metropolis. Like most of the city, the facility is connected to Lex Luthor. While Aquaman appeared to prevent LexCorp test detonations from continuing, he was subdued and brought to the aquarium. Dr. Cardy viewed Aquaman as an important scientific discovery. Coincidentally, Dr. Cardy was scheduled to speak with Lois Lane about recent aggressive animal behavior. Afterwards, Lane stumbled upon Aquaman. Dr. Cardy was rounded up for arrest along with several LexCorp employees.
