D.J. Rook is a successful music producer who lives in Dakota Hills. However, he profits by stealing the songs of aspiring artists who have no means of legal retaliation. After a colleague at D Town Recordings played a sample submitted from Adam Evans, Rook stole it and used it in Ice Pack's latest album. Evans hunted down the parties linked to his song as Rubberband Man and eventually found Rook. Rook lured him into his vault with the promise of unlimited financial compensation then locked him in with less than half an hour of air left. Static intervened and defeated them both.
