Among the Jokerz, Bonk is of the burlesque strongman variety. Born to fight and quick tempered, Bonk can be a force to be reckoned with. He was suspicious of his gang's new leader and objected to stealing parts of a satellite system without knowing the entire plan. After Batman botched a robbery, Bonk confronted their leader, who turned out to the original Joker, with an ultimatum. Joker responded by killing him.
This event was temporarily non-existent when Chronos took over Gotham City. Bonk was upgraded alongside other Jokerz. His right hand was outfitted with a device that could shift his hand, at will, into a giant steel hammer.
