April is the girlfriend of Harold, leader of a small-time gang of crooks. They wanted to manipulate Dr. Corso into giving them powers for free. First, April was implanted in Dr. Corso's clinic. She gradually earned his trust and filled the void in life. Corso thought of her as a once in a lifetime opportunity, like an April Moon and proposed to her. Then, the gang pretended to have kidnapped April and held her for ransom. The plan was disrupted when Batman discovered their powers were courtesy of Dr. Corso. Together, they discovered April was part of the gang. She fled the scene and current whereabouts are unknown.
