Alanna is the daughter of Sardath, chief scientist of Rann, a planet located in the Alpha Centauri system. When Sardath used his Zeta Beam to make contact with other worlds, he accidentally transported Adam Strange from Earth. The energetic and fierce spirited Alanna and Strange fell in love and married. Alanna later decided to join Strange in his exploits defending Rann and across the universe.
