Kalibak is the eldest son of Darkseid. His mother is a scientist named Suli, allegedly the only woman that Darkseid loved. After Suli's assassination, Kalibak was recruited to Darkseid's Special Powers Force and earned a reputation as a savage fighter. He is often depicted as Darkseid's second-in-command.
