Rebecca Langstrom is the daughter of Dr. Kirk and Francine Langstrom. Even at a young age, Rebecca became cognizant of her father's tendancy to become obsessed with his work and make excuses. However, she and her mother were taken hostage by Deathstroke as insurance while Dr. Langstrom worked on his Man-Bat Serum. During one conversation, Rebecca mentioned seeing two mountain peaks that look like cat ears. This would later help Batman and Robin find them in Interlaken. Anticipating their arrival, Deathstroke left the compound but Francine and Rebecca remained. Rebecca was told their lives would be spared if she gave a recorded message to Robin in secret. Batman later found them behind a false wall. Batman called Interpol and had them send a helicopter to extract Francine and Rebecca.
