The Talon of the modern age kept a home separate from the Court of Owl's base. It appears to be a small studio atop a building and is accessed through a skylight only. It is furnished with costumes worn by previous Talons, weapons, picture frames related to the Court, and a tack board. Talon took Robin to his home and implored him to speak freely. Talon told Robin his goal was to eradicate all crime for good and offered to be his new mentor. He also promised there would be no lines, no limits or no rules. Talon gifted Robin a sai and gave him a device he could use make contact when he came to a decision. Robin later returned to the home after he battled Batman above The Garden. He found a note left by Talon that congratulated him on making the right choice and instructed him to wait.
