Paris is the capital of France. Vandal Savage kept an underground base that didn't connect to the general catacombs under the city. During the invasion of Earth, Paris was one the cities that served as a site for Boom Tubes. Once Cyborg drew back all Parademons to Apokolips, the Boom Tubes over Paris were closed. Scandal Savage met with Amanda Waller and her Suicide Squad at an appointed place along the Seine River. She led them to the entrance to Vandal Savage's catacombs, where only his loyalists or heirs could gain access. Waller stayed at the entrance while she observed by them head-cam and gave more orders. Further along in the mission, Deadshot found Waller and put a gun to her head. Deadman suddenly possessed him then informed Waller was going to lead the squad out another way. Once Deadman left, Waller wired $15 million into Deadshot's account to help extract the squad from the catacombs.
